F.A.Q.

How do we get started?

Contact me via phone or e-mail at DenaHenry@honesttalkcounseling.com.  I will go over pertinent information related to care, and then direct you to my patient portal to fill out the necessary paper work to begin the therapy process.

Do you offer in person counseling services?

No, I only offer counseling services via HIPPA compliant video,  and phone session through a secure patient portal.

How do we meet for our telehealth sessions?

Every client will need to establish a patient portal.   Video sessions are provided through this portal.  Phone sessions will be conducted via my phone to yours with the number provided by you.

How often do we meet for sessions and how long are they?

Typically, sessions are once a week and last approximately 45-50 minutes.

Do you take insurance?

I do not currently take insurance.  I accept private pay via credit card or HSA through a secure portal. I can, however,  supply you with a superbill that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement.

Do you provide crisis services or work with individuals who are actively suicidal?

Unfortunately I do not accept clients who are actively in crisis or suicidal.  I recommend seeking in person therapy to receive the proper level of care if you have had thoughts of suicide in the last 3-6 months.

I do not live in Missouri, can we still meet for telehealth appointments?

I am licensed in the state of Missouri to provide therapy to individuals who are residents currently living in Missouri.  I am also registered as an out of state provider to provide telehealth services to residents of Florida.
